What can i say about Marco De Bon? He's a genius! I'm always pleased to see his work. His designs and his visions when it comes to LEGO creations are easily of the most exquisite kind when it comes to mechs.
I've found this one recently despite it being a 3 years old creation. On his Flickr account, he have some footer below this one:
"This 20 cm moc is inspired by some of the insect-like mechs of the Dunbine tv show. After accumulating a bunch of dark purple bricks, I managed to use those trans pink doors as wings, I think they work, so I also made a stand for the flying poses."
