LEGO MOCer James Cherry, a.k.a crash_cramer did it again. This guy deserves my respects and admiration. This time he managed to create a superb and nearly perfect LEGO model of the iconic Eurofighter Typhoon.
In his own words:
I have made US aircraft exclusively to this point and so decided to make some British machines to balance things up. It has been the frontline RAF fighter for some time now and has proven to be a very capable weapons platform and probably the best of the Gen 4.5 fighters.
The model is just over a metre long with a span of 73cm. It incorporates a custom vacuum formed canopy, 3D printed nose cone and custom vinyl stickers/dry rub decals. All control surfaces are manually moveable and it has a load out of 2x Meteor and 2x Asraam air to air missiles plus 6x Paveway IV laser guided bombs. The base is a scale recreation of part of the RAF Coningsby apron.
My next project is underway in the shape of a 1/15 scale De Havilland Mosquito VI depicting one of the aircraft my Grandfather flew in during WW2. Thanks for looking."
