Continuing with the celebration and sharing of great LEGO MOC's, this time around we came to this spectacular rendition of the beloved R-9A Arrow-Head starship from the R-Type game franchise.

R-Type was originated back in 1987, developed by Irem and published by Nintendo in the Americas. Being a side scroller and a shooter (one of the best of all times), The player controls a space fighter named the R-9 to defend humanity against a mysterious powerful alien life-form known as the "Bydo".
The game was originally developed for ARCADE, specifically the Irem M72. It success spawned several ports including PC Engine and TurboGrafx 16. Later on the game took a place in the Xbox Live Arcade list.
We now first hand the game was infamous for it's relentless and merciless difficulty but we only can think of the time and tries done by MiniGray! in order to achieve this magnificent piece.
