Video Game Awards
are the Oscars equivalent in the
gaming industry. Since 2003, the very best of the industry has been awarded
from way back to the Spike Video
Game Awards (abbreviated VGA), through the now renowned award.
This year
ceremony will take place on December 6th at the Microsoft Theater in
Los Angeles, CA.
Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 and Santa Monica’s
God of War headline the list of
nominees, each with eight nominations including Game of The Year. Spider-Man
is close enough with a solid seven nominations, so that’s 15 for PS4’s two high
profile exclusives alone.
But I’m not going to talk about exclusives here. What I want
to do is to share the complete, gigantic list of nominees across all genres,
platforms and category there is at the moment contending for this year big
price, released by Geoff Keighley.
