LEGO, please make this 5th Element NYPD Patrol car an official set!

Back in 1997, a story 22 years in the making was released, turning into an instant classic and a reference for future sci-fi productions to come.

Now, talented LEGO MOCer David Duperron is bringing life once again to the iconic vehicles that made their first ever appearance in the movie. This time around, we are proud to share with you the NYPD Patrol Car.

Directed and co-written by Luc Besson, The Fifth Element stars Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman and Milla Jovovich. Primarily set in the 23rd century, the film's central plot involves the survival of planet Earth, which becomes the responsibility of Korben Dallas (Willis), a taxicab driver and former special forces major, after a young woman (Jovovich) falls into his cab. To accomplish this, Dallas joins forces with her to recover four mystical stones essential for the defense of Earth against the impending attack of a malevolent cosmic entity.
Duperron is for sure one hell of a creator and for the looks of his works, a die hard fan of fiction novels and movies. He is the creator of highly praised Colonial Viper from the Battlestar Galactica movie.
